Bradley T. Lemon DPM, FACFAS
Despite being born in Frankfort, KY, Dr. Lemon calls the Eastern Shore his home. Having relocated with his family to the Eastern Shore when he was a year old, he would later graduate from Delmar High School in 1987. While at Delmar, he was a multi-sport athlete earning post season honors in football and baseball.
He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Pre-Med from James Madison University in 1991. He then pursued his Doctoral Degree from the Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in 1995.
He completed his surgical residency training at The Kern Hospital for Special Surgery in Warren, Michigan. Kern Hospital was the "first surgical podiatric residency program" and has produced a plethora of leaders in the field of podiatric medicine and surgery. While there, Dr. Lemon was trained in the surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle, as well as, the extensive treatment of diabetic foot related complications.
Dr. Lemon returned home to Delaware and founded Southern Delaware Foot & Ankle in 2000. Since its inception, the practice has expanded into four locations serving Southern Delaware and nearby Maryland residents. The practice provides comprehensive medical and surgical treatment of foot, ankle, and lower extremity disorders. Dr. Lemon married Valerie Lemon in 1995 and they are blessed with two children. Jacob is enrolled in the College of Engineering's Construction Management Program at East Carolina University.
Madison attends Salisbury University studying Early Childhood Education and is a member of the softball team. For the past 20 years, Dr. Lemon has devoted his free time to coaching youth sports including football, baseball, and softball. He has provided numerous scholarships to area student athletes at Delmar High School who excelled in academics and athletics. He has supported many local youth programs and non-profit organizations. He is a proud supporter of the Good Ole Boy Foundation which supports local families in need of assistance. He enjoys coaching, golfing, watching baseball and softball games, going to the beach, and landscaping. The Lemon's also enjoy their two Goldendoodles, Max and Molly.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
He is a perennial Top Doc in the Delaware Today and Coastal Style Magazine.

Dr. Mirzaei specializes in all ailments of the foot and ankle, including conservative and surgical treatments. He has comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, including diabetic foot exams, wound care and limb salvage, ingrown nails, bunions, hammertoes, arthritis, tendinitis, flat feet, high arched feet, and Charcot. His surgical training includes reconstructive surgery and traumas of the forefoot, midfoot, rearfoot and ankle, including arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgeries.
Dr. Mirzaei was born in New York City and raised in Central New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate education at Rutgers University-New Brunswick as a Biological Sciences/Pre-Medicine major. He graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. He then went on to complete his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency with the added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery (PMSR/RRA) from Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital, in Philadelphia, PA. He was appointed the Chief Surgical and Chief Administrative resident.
Dr. Mirzaei has been voted Top Doctor by his peers in the medical field perenially since 2017.
In his free time, he loves to spend time with his family, visit the local beaches, travel, and watch sports.
Christopher M. Heisey DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Heisey is a double Board-Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon. He was born in New Jersey and grew up in Middletown, PA. He completed his undergraduate education at Elizabethtown College and medical school training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Heisey then completed his surgical residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (Hackensack Meridian Health) in Neptune, NJ.
At Hackensack Meridian Health, he received extensive training with a large volume of surgical cases in many aspects of foot and ankle surgery including: reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, joint replacement, trauma/fracture care of the foot and ankle, arthroscopy, wound care/limb salvage. During this training he developed a special interest in treatment of foot and ankle trauma, regularly treating ankle fractures, ankle sprains, Achilles tendon tears, rearfoot/midfoot fractures, and metatarsal fractures. Dr. Heisey joined Southern Delaware Foot & Ankle in 2018 moving from Asbury Park, NJ.
He enjoys treating runners and athletes with his background as a competitive runner. In college, he qualified/competed at multiple NCAA Div. 3 National Championships in Cross Country and Track & Field. He has continued to run and has completed multiple marathons. Dr. Heisey enjoys being close to the beaches in Southern Delaware as well as spending time with family and goldendoodle.
Dr. Heisey has presented multiple publications at local and national conferences. He has also published several medical articles related to the foot and ankle in well-respected journals. Dr. Heisey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He is Board Certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by ABFAS. He is also Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). Dr. Heisey is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
